Ένας σύγχρονος Διαδραστικός Πίνακας συνδέεται με έναν υπολογιστή, όπου εκεί συνδέουμε και έναν προβολέα με VGA καλώδιο, έτσι ώστε να μπορούμε μέσω της εικόνας που έχουμε από τον προβολέα, να χειριστούμε τον Η/Υ ακόμα και με αφή ή και με την βοήθεια του λογισμικού του πίνακα να βάλουμε σχόλια και υποσημειώσεις (annotation) σε στιγμιότυπα οθόνης (screenshot) σε μορφή εικόνας.
Ο Διαδραστικός πίνακας θα πρέπει να έχει όσο το δυνατόν λιγότερα περιφερειακά εξαρτήματα, τα οποία θα είναι απαραίτητα για την λειτουργία του έτσι ώστε να μην επιβαρύνεται το σχολείο στο μέλλον με αναλώσιμα, να περιοριστούν οι βλάβες και οι περιπτώσεις διακοπής της λειτουργίας λόγο έλλειψης αυτών των αναλωσίμων. Ιδανικά ο πίνακας θα περιλαμβάνει το βασικό πίνακα χωρίς ηλεκτρονικούς διακόπτες και ηλεκτρονικά στυλό, controller και καλώδιο. Ιδανικά, δεν θα πρέπει να έχει κανένα κινητό μέρος και να μην έχει διακόπτες που θα επηρεάζουν την χρήση του παρα μόνο μια μπάρα με κουμπιά που θα λειτουργούν με αφή και να μπορεί να λειτουργήσει και μόνο με το δάκτυλό μας.
Θα πρέπει να έχει όσο μεγαλύτερη συμβατότητα γίνεται, με σύγχρονα συστήματα Η/Υ. Δηλαδή, το λογισμικό του να είναι σύγχρονο, να έχει στοιχεία που το καθιστά συμβατό και με άλλα παρόμοια συστήματα της αγοράς (π.χ. υποστήριξη εισαγωγής αρχείου σε κοινό file format iwb, εξαγωγή αρχείων σε pdf αρχείο κ.α.), όπως επίσης να έχει έκδοση για περιβάλλον Windows. Επίσης να συνοδεύεται από λογισμικό δημιουργίας μαθημάτων ανεξάρτητο από το λογισμικό του κατασκευαστή του πίνακα με δυνατότητα δημιουργίας αρχείων μαθημάτων σε html.
Ο Διαδραστικός πίνακας θα πρέπει να είναι ποιοτικός, γνωστής στον αντίστοιχο χώρο κατασκευαστικής εταιρείας, πιστοποιημένη με ISO 9001, να είναι στιβαρός, να μην χρειάζεται τροφοδοσία πέρα από αυτήν μέσω της USB θύρας του Η/Υ και όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερα να μπορεί να καθαρίσει η επιφάνειά του αν χρησιμοποιηθεί μαρκαδόρος permanent, ή άλλου τύπου μπογιά σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος ή λάθους χρήσης. Επίσης να έχει ειδική θέση για Kensington lock.
Έτσι, όσο μας επιτρέπει η υπάρχουσα τεχνολογία, ο πίνακας θα είναι αξιόπιστος, θα έχει αντοχή στην χρήση, συμβατότητα των εξαγομένων αρχείων, χρήσιμα χαρακτηριστικά όπως π.χ. να μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί και σαν πίνακας μαρκαδόρου και θα έχει εγγύηση 5 χρόνων ή παραπάνω.
Σημαντικό είναι, η επιφάνεια του πίνακα να είναι κατάλληλη για προβολή με αντι-ανακλαστικά χαρακτηριστικά για να είναι ξεκούραστη η παρακολούθηση του μαθήματος. Επίσης ο πίνακας κατά προτίμηση να μην λειτουργεί με επαγωγικά,
Η εταιρεία που θα προμηθεύει τον πίνακα θα πρέπει να έχει εμπειρία στον εκπαιδευτικό κλάδο, θα είναι πιστοποιημένη με ISO και θα προσφέρει τηλεφωνική υποστήριξη και συντήρηση όταν χρειαστεί.
Ο πίνακας μπορεί να εγκατασταθεί
- Σε τοίχο σταθερά
- Σε επιτοίχια βάση ρυθμιζόμενου ύψους
- Σε τροχήλατη βάση
Το παρακάτω περιγραφόμενο είδος δεν περιλαμβάνει βάση στήριξης μεταβαλλόμενου ύψους για πίνακα και προβολικό ή τροχήλατη βάση, υπολογιστή ή προβολικό μηχάνημα.
Για τον πίνακα σε τροχήλατη βάση θα προτιμηθεί πίνακας με διάσταση εσωτερικής διαγωνίου ~ 66’’ (4:3).
Για τους λοιπούς πίνακες, καλύτερο μέγεθος θεωρείται το ~ 77’’ (4:3).
ΔΙΑΔΡΑΣΤΙΚΟΣ ΠΙΝΑΚΑΣ ΑΦΗΣ
Για την Δημιουργία ενός Διαδραστικού Συστήματος:
- Απαραίτητα, πρέπει να συνοδεύεται με projector.
- Απαραίτητη είναι η σύνδεση με υπολογιστή.
Συνιστάται η χρήση Κοντινής προβολής projector
