The main activities of CONCEPTUM S.A. aim at the promotion of developmental planning mainly on a local and regional basis, with the rational and effective exploitation of Structural Funds, offering a wide range of consulting services. The most important company projects cover a wide range of specialisation sectors. CONCEPTUM S.A. combines management expertise, local knowledge of regional development issues and policies in Greece, as well as of the institutional context in which policy measures need to be implemented and international experts from other Member States with long experience of analysing economic and social problems and helping to formulate appropriate policies for addressing them. Accordingly, CONCEPTUM S.A. can bring to bear an informed perspective across a wide range of policy areas.

RTD Projects

• Elaboration of the Implementation Plan for the project "Synthesis of Strategic Models on Natural Disaster Prevention", under the priority Global-4-Climate Change and Ecosystems, for the 6th Framework Programme of the EU.
  
  
• Monitoring and implementation of the project "SEISMOPOLIS", under the Operational Programme Competition, in the thematic priority Structured Environment and Seismic Management, for the Greek Ministry of Development.
  
  
• Implementation of the project "SPEAKVOLUMES", funded under the Information Society Operational Programme, in the thematic priority Research and Technological Development of Information Society Initiatives.
  
  
• Management, evaluation and implementation of the Leonardo Da Vinci and Socrates Programmes, regarding VET, funded by the EU.
  
  
• Planning of two projects under the Operational Programme Culture, for the Greek Ministry of Culture, for the Municipalities of Astypalaia Island and Pythagorio in Samos Island.

• Conceptum is the prime contactor of "LAERTIS", a large scale pilot project sponsored by Greek Government and EU in the context of project ODYSSEIA the purpose of which is the production of educational Information Technology system for Greek VOCATIONAL schools.
  
  
• "ELPINOR" Program sponsored by Greek Government and EU in the context of project ODYSSEIA the purpose of which is the production of educational Information Technology system for Greek Lyceums
  
  
• "NAUSIKA" Program sponsored by Greek Government and EU in the context of project ODYSSEIA the purpose of which is the production of educational title in the field of Ecology for Greek Lyceums
  
  
• "MEDIA I": a cd-rom entitled "Back to the land of Cyclops" which has been completed and the title has been released. The project has been co-produced with Club D'Investissement Media.
  
  
• "MEDIA II": a cd-rom entitled "Moon for infants and children" which has been selected by EMDA for first stage financing.
  
  
• "MEDIA-plus" Conceptum is the prime contractor of the project "Time Collectors" accepted by EU, in the frame of this program. The aim of this project is the development of an on-line educational adventure game.
  
  
• "Informatics of Junior High School": the project was given to Conceptum after the relevant competition and is the first assignment of educational software creation that Educational Institute performs, in the frames of EPEAEK.
  
  
• "Competitiveness Media": a project approved by the Greek Development Ministry for the development of a program for e-commerce and provided services of the company
  
  
• "E learning land": a completed virtual environment to support student communities in the Internet.
  
  
• "Time Collectors": an Internet title with a 3D enactment of the cities of ancient Greece.
